This applies to Sherlock Forensics Android Acquirer, PST Viewer, Browser Viewer, MSG Viewer and EML Viewer (Forensic Edition licenses).
- Digital products are delivered electronically via download link and license key
- Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final once the license key has been activated
- If you experience technical issues preventing the software from functioning, contact us within 14 days of purchase for troubleshooting or a full refund
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Unused license keys (not yet activated) may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
Free Software
Sherlock Forensics Disk Imager, USB Write Blocker, Email Header Analyzer, Chain of Custody Tool and all free edition software have no purchase cost. No refund applies.
Professional Services
This applies to penetration testing, forensic analysis, incident response, expert witness and all consulting engagements.
- Cancellation before work begins: Full refund of any deposit paid
- Cancellation after work has started: Prorated refund based on percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation
- Completed engagements: Non-refundable. Deliverables (reports, evidence packages) remain yours
- Service engagements are governed by the signed statement of work. If the statement of work contains refund terms that differ from this policy, the statement of work takes precedence

- We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method
