Terms and conditions of use
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sherlock Forensics website at www.sherlockforensics.com and all services provided by Sherlock Forensics ("we", "us" or "our"). By accessing our website or purchasing our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
1. Website Use

While we strive to keep information accurate and current, we make no guarantees or warranties of any kind regarding the completeness, accuracy or reliability of any content on this site. Any reliance you place on website content is at your own risk.
2. Reconnaissance Tool
Our free reconnaissance tool performs passive reconnaissance only. It queries publicly available data sources including DNS records, HTTP response headers and publicly accessible ports. The tool does not perform active exploitation, vulnerability scanning or any form of intrusive testing.
Results from the recon tool are provided on an as-is basis with no warranty of accuracy or completeness. The tool is not a substitute for a professional security assessment. We accept no liability for the findings displayed by the tool or for any actions you take based on those results. You agree to use the tool only against domains and IP addresses that you are authorized to investigate.

When you purchase a service through our website, you enter into a legally binding authorization agreement. By completing a purchase you represent and warrant that:
- You are authorized to request the service for the specified target systems
- You have legal authority to authorize testing on the target systems
- The testing scope is limited to the targets specified in your authorization agreement
Testing will not be performed on any systems outside the authorized scope. Unauthorized target testing is a violation of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence.

All services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sherlock Forensics disclaims all warranties whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that our findings will be exhaustive.
