His knowledge of social networking sites and how they are designed and function provides a unique level of expertise during internet investigations. Mr. Hill has been utilizing the "Internet" long before it was known as what we refer to now as the World Wide Web. Building upon this foundation, Mr. Hill applied his skills towards website application security and computer forensics. As an internet investigator, Mr. Hill is experienced with e-mail and forum posting tracing, and continues to be successful at identifying individuals who attempt to hide their online activity through the use of proxy servers and encryption systems.
Mr. Hill has completed his Forensic Toolkit® Training (FTK) with AccessData® and continues to expand his knowledge of the computer forensics field. Concentrating on password recovery and encryption systems, Mr. Hill has demonstrated a remarkable ability to provide clients with easy-to-understand explanations of various issues or situations involving their networks and provide clear solutions for resolving a particular situation.
In addition to these skill sets, Mr. Hill performs specialized computer system acquisitions, forensic analysis, and reporting. Mr. Hill is well versed in the use of filters and index searches, allowing for the easy review of previously acquired data and extraction of non-relevant information to expedite your document recovery and review process.
Mr. Hill's knowledge expands far beyond simple internet investigations. With his focus on remaining up to date with new and upcoming technology, Mr. Hill is currently working on obtaining his EnCase certificate (EnCE). His extensive experience, which ranges from forensic analysis to cryptanalysis attacks on weak ciphers, continues to make Sherlock Forensics the most qualified computer forensics and security company in Canada. |
