Director of Software Development  

Chris Bensler has been working with computers professionally for over 15 years. Chris Bensler is our Director of Software Development for our Drive Enforcer products as well as in-house tools used in Forensics and Security Audits. His unique experience in encryption systems and security architectures makes him a valued member of the team helping provide world class service to our clients.

Chris is an expert in the C/C++, Visual Basic, VBScript, J2ME for mobile devices and Euphoria and an almost addictive attitude towards assembly and machine level concepts used by these languages. In addition to system programming, Chris is also well versed in webscripting languages such as Java, Javascript, PHP, CSS, HTML, XHTML and XML.

Chris's has maintained a hobby of freelance graphics design for the last 10 years, using program such as Photoshop, Painter, FreehandMX and Quark Xpress although a very technically oriented person. This provides a unique experience in being able to not only program the software, but provide a visually appealing and positive experience to the end users. At a previous position, Chris has the opportunity to do a bit of basic 3D design/animation using 3DS MAX, Maya and Poser and hopes to apply these learned principles to his current projects.

Chris is currently working towards his CISSP-ISSAP for security architecture and designs to provide a level of expertise to software development that has no equal. The unique combination of technical and non-technical skills makes Chris a valued member of the Sherlock Forensics team.
